small room noisy toilet
The room felt quite small. Moving around was a bit tight. Access to the bathroom was minimal! I think, for a longer stay, a bit more space would have been better. the toilet had some kind of noisy mechanism. It was quite loud. It seemed to activate with the shower, too, and that was a distraction.

friendly staff home-cooked food small room loud mincer
The staff provided excellent service. they were very friendly and helpful, a great asset. the food i ate was superb. The home-cooked quality was definitely evident.
The room i occupied was a bit small, it did restrict access to the bathroom. the mincer in the toilet was very loud. It seemed to activate with the shower, a little disruptive at night.

some issues during stay
small room loud toilet
the room was quite small and this did affect my comfort. the toilet was too loud at night, especially when others used water. i found the used sauce bottles on the breakfast table unhygienic and generally unpleasant. its a minor detail, but one i will definitely remember.

The staff washed my cycling kit. Breakfast included good options. Parking was free and easy.

delicious breakfast quiet village
the breakfast was lovely. it was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. the location was perfect, the village was very quiet.
i noticed a staircase to the upper floor. it looked quite steep.
